Personality
Spook is such a social butterfly, he loves attention and can not get enough of the kids. Arguably his favorite family member is Bailey, our family puppy. He has so much patience with her. We all know in a fair fight that Spook could tear her to pieces, but he always plays carefully with soft paws just as he does with our kids. Bailey is becoming quite the arrogant little thing, she fully believes that she can take down everyone. I blame this on Spook because he always lets her win. He pretends to loose, laying on his back and allowing Bailey to chew on his legs and neck until he gets tired of her and retreats to a shelf above her.
Medical
I fully expect Spook to get the Vet's full seal of approval, but we haven't finished his testing just yet. To do his hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) screening he needs to be a year old, so we're still waiting. Our screenings are done by a licensed Cat Cardiologist. We go the extra mile and HCM scan our bengal cats to make sure we're breeding the best possible bengal kittens we can. In the next few weeks we should get his DNA testing panel back. The Wisdom Panel is the world's most comprehensive cat DNA test and is developed by leading geneticists and veterinarians. Along with insuring that our Spooky cat is 100% bengal breed, it also screens for 45+ health tests, 25+ trait tests, and blood type. Proof of testing can be provided to you if requested. DNA Traits
We will know for sure in a few weeks but I expect that Spook will have the melanistic genes and silver genetics. He is considered a "smoke" Bengal (Silver Melanistic).
